Sy Crumley played during the 2007 season with the 9th grade, Junior Varsity and Varsity Squads, As a freshman, he was named the Outstanding Defensive player for the Junior Varsity.  A 2008 member of the Varsity squad, he will see infield action. Crumley is a  superior honor student he is ranked in the upper five percent of his class, and recipient of the 2006 freshman and 2007 sophomore football academic award.  He is son of Greg and Peggy Crumley.
