Coach Chuck Beale is entering his 32nd year of teaching and coaching. He now enters his sixth year as Head Coach at Tift County. He has worked at Evans Junior High School, Tift County Schools, Dublin High School and is in his 8th year back in the Tift County school system. During Coach Beale's 16 years as a head coach, he has compiled an overall record of 304-126-2. He has had 30 players go off and play collegiate baseball, and had 10 players either get drafted or sign with a professional organization. Chuck and Vickie have two sons, Chuck, Jr. and Rusty. They are the proud grandparents of Anna Claire who is 8 years old. Vickie is the registrar at Northeast Campus of Tift County High School. Coach Taylor Wilkins is in his fourth year coaching with the Blue
Devils. He is a graduate of Lowndes County High School where he played
baseball. Coach Wilkins graduated from Valdosta State University where
he received his BSED in Health and Physical Education in 2004. He
currently teaches PE at Matt Wilson. He coached baseball at Lowndes
High School during 2004. He is married to Jessica Mathis of Hahira and
they live in Adel. |

Coach
Phil Salter, member of
the class of 1981, is a former Blue Devil baseball catcher. He signed with
ABAC after graduating from Tift County High School. He is married to
Debbie, an English teacher at TCHS. He is the father of three children:
Josh, 21, Ben, 19 and Savannah, 16. Josh and Ben also played baseball for
Tift County. Savannah is a member of the Varsity Soccer team. |

Coach Rusty Beale is beginning his first season back with the Blue Devils, after coaching the Devils during the 2005 season. He is a graduate of Dublin High School, where he lettered in baseball. Coach Beale graduated from Stetson University, where he was a four-year starter for the Hatters from 2000-2003. After his four years at Stetson University, Coach Beale was drafted and played professionally in the Cincinnati Reds Organization. After his playing career, Coach Beale has coached at Westside High School in Macon , Ga. and was an assistant coach at Stetson University.
